Fill the Freezer Fishing Tournament


WINNERS will be determined by a POINTS SYSTEM

1) Quantity of Fish – each “keeper” fish will receive 1 point for fish

2) Species of fish – each specie “keeper” type will get a point (example: you catch 3 specie, you get 3 points)

3) Tie Breaker Largest “Keeper” Fish – should there be a tie in the first two categories

Guaranteed Pay Outs Depends On The Total Entry Fees:

(Example: Total entry fees = $5,000 (25% of $5,000 = $1,250 will be the total award payouts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place)

Example breakdown of Total Payout: $1,250:

First Place Winner will get 50% of award payout = $625

Second Place Winner will get 30% of the award payout = $375

Third Place Winner will get 20% of the award payout = $250

** Payout amount TBD depending on total entries.

Fishing Tournament Information

After registering, vessel captain will receive info and cell phone number to sign-in
the morning of.
Sign in by 7:00am by texting your team/boat name to 941-525-2529
Launch and fish anywhere between Boca Grande Pass and Indian Mound Park.
Tournament begins – 8:00am
Tournament ends – 1:00pm

Awards ceremony at Pioneer Park, Dearborn Street – 2pm-4pm
There will be a silent Auction with winners announced – 3:45pm
Awards will begin – 2:30pm
There will be food trucks available to purchase lunch
